RETURN POLICIES

 

Here at Home Accessibility, we understand that selecting the correct product for your needs can sometimes be difficult. If for some reason you feel a product is not right for you and need to return an item, please review our policies below:

**Please note that Bath Lifts are specially designed for home care. These products are expressly made for individuals who possess the ability to move to and from the edge of the bathtub of their own accord. For users that are mentally or physically handicapped, the assistance of a second person is essential.

**Home Accessibility takes pride in product safety and ensuring a high hygienic standard. For your safety, hygienic products cannot be returned. We keep this policy in place to protect you, the consumer, from ever receiving an unsafe or unhygienic product. By adhering to this policy, Home Accessibility is able to guarantee that you, our valued customer, will receive a factory White Glove Sanitary product every time.

**Bath Lifts, Bath and Shower Seats, Chairs, Boards, Toileting Products and Grab Bars are considered hygienic products. Our most frequently Asked Question is: “What if I just try the Bath Lift without using it?”

Our answer would be that once the Bath Lift is opened and/or placed in a bathtub, it is no longer sanitary and cannot be returned. This is so that the utmost quality for EVERY product can be expected for everyone. Please note that should you purchase a product from a Vendor that will accept returns, you run the risk of receiving a re-manufactured, used, and/or unsanitary product. Home Accessibility finds this practice reprehensible and will not subject our valued customers to those risks.

 

In order to return or exchange a returnable item, you must first obtain a Return Merchandise Agreement. To obtain a Return Merchandise Agreement (RMA) simply call 877-573-8311.

For Unopened Returns: Bath Lifts, Bath and Shower seats, Chairs, and Boards can be returned Within 15 Days Of Delivery Date with an RMA and a forty-five dollar Restocking Fee. *Please note that for returns, the consumer is responsible for shipping charges.

Unopened Grab Bars can be returned with an RMA for a 10% restocking fee Within 15 Days Of Delivery Date

For Open Box Items: Bath Lifts, Bath and Shower seats, Chairs, Boards, and Grab Bars (hygienic products) cannot be returned for safety and health reasons. Home Accessibility cannot refund any open box returns for those reasons. Any shipping charges or returns made under these conditions are the responsibility of the customer. All other products are subject to a forty-five dollar restocking fee

For UpLift Products: We ask that you get an RMA (see above) before returning a product. We would like to note that all products returned for any reason other than a manufacturer’s warranty is subject to inspection for the assurance of all our customers and a fifteen percent restocking fee will be added.

If for some reason a damaged product finds its way to your door: Home Accessibility will work with you and the vendors to directly resolve any issue, manufacturer or otherwise, immediately. As always, you may contact us between 9:00 am EST – 5:00 pm EST at 877-573-8311.

 

 

A Bath Lift is considered a hygienic product and as a result of such cannot be returned. For sanitary purposes this policy must be enforced. If for any reason you have difficulty with your product malfunctioning, we will work directly with the vendor to solve the issue.
